Fran es un hombre de 35 años, que murió en un accidente de coche y lleva en el cielo 15 años. Allí todos viven en armonía y tienen todo lo que desean al momento.

En el Cielo, Fran tiene todos los lujos que quiere. Está con todas las chicas que se le antoja. Es un profesional jugando al golf y juega todos los días con un amigo suyo, que fue un experto en bolsa y que siempre está hablándole de inversiones. Clarence, es su Angel de la Guarda y siempre está cerca para que a Fran no le falte nunca nada.

Una noche, volviendo a casa después de tomar varias copas con unos amigos en una discoteca del Cielo, se encuentra con una grieta en el suelo de la que sale una luz. Al acercarse a verla más de cerca, la grieta se abre y cae en ella.

Al despertarse al día siguiente, Fran se encuentra con unos sin techo calentándose las manos en un fuego y tiene una experiencia fumándose un porro con un grupo de góticos. Esto le hace pensar que ha caído en el infierno, pero cuando se le pasan los efectos de la droga, se da cuenta de que se ha equivocado y de que no está en el infierno. Ha vuelto a la Tierra…

At his 30’s, he has become a professional swindler and owns one of New York’s most prestigious Modern Art galleries. Working for him is Chi-Wang, a great forger who copies the works of the world’s most coveted painters, like Kandinsky, Chagall, Basquiat, Braque… Chi-Wang uses ingenious techniques that very few people know. David sells these forgeries as if they were the originals, both to New York’s Jet Set and to the most important art galleries around the world.

David lives in a grand mansion on the outskirts of NYC. He’s used to living a life of luxury: benefit galas, sumptuous private parties, the trendiest restaurants, luxury hotels and cars. He’s always surrounded by the most beautiful and elegant women.

David sells these forgeries to gallery owners and collectors throughout the world with the most elaborate and amusing schemes imaginable. Sometimes with the accompanying danger of risking everything so that the con looks completely convincing.
